We are please to announce this years Jury Committee for the 2020 CIJ Awards Poland.

 

 

 

Hadley Dean

Independent, Chairman of CIJ Awards 2020 Jury Committee

Former CEO of EPP, with a total value of 2.6 billion euro and leasable area of over 1mil. square metres. Previous to EPP, Hadley was CEO of EMEA Compass Offices and Colliers International EMEA board member overseeing Colliers teams in Eastern Europe. Over 20 years of real estate experience, having worked in London, Warsaw, Central Europe. He holds a diploma from Sheffield Hallam University in property valuation and management as well as BSC from Newcastle University. He spent 13 years living in Poland whilst working at Colliers International, helping building its business and then running Central and Eastern Europe operations. He is a Member of Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.

 

Agnieszka Ciupak

Head of Leasing CPIPG Polska

Agnieszka has almost twenty years of experience in the real estate industry. She manages the team responsible for the office offer and the commercial area to the CPIPG portfolio in Poland. Previously, she was involved in leasing office space for HB Reavis, Griffin Real Estate, Echo Investment, Globe Trade Center and UBM Polska. She is an economist. Graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics.

 

Andreas Prokes

Co-founder, Karimpol Group of Companies.

Born 1959, in Vienna/Austria. Studied at Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU) in Vienna 1979 – 1985 and Graduated Mag.rer.soc.oec. (today: MSc) 1985. Currently, Managing Director in family owned trading company 1985 – 1991. Co-founder of the Karimpol Group of Companies in 1990. Co-owner and managing director of the Karimpol Group of Companies, 1990 – today.

 

prof. Ewa Kuryłowicz

Vice-president and General Designer, Kuryłowicz & Associates,

Graduate of the Faculty of Architecture of the Warsaw University of Technology, ( 1972 – 1977 ) studies at the Faculty of Architecture of the Warsaw University of Technology and at the Faculty of Architecture, Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa, USA (1975). In the years 2000 – 2008 Director of Work Programme “Spiritual places” of the International Union of Architects UIA, Paris. Juror of the Association of Polish Architects (SARP), President of the Advisory Board of Competition Jurors of SARP Main Board( 2015-2019) . Juror of SARP BDA architectural diplomas competition (2013- 2016), President of the Jury of the  Polish edition of Wienerberger  Brick Award competition (2013, 2015). Polish member of the International Jury of the Brick Award Competition 2014. Juror of the EPSE International Competitions 2013 , 2015. Member of the Polish Chamber of Architects. Winner of architectural competitions (in teams of APA Kuryłowicz & Associates), among others: competition of the Association of Polish Architects (SARP) and UIA for the project of the Polish History Museum 2009 (commendation), competition of the Association of Polish Architects (SARP) no. 933 for educational building of the University of Warsaw at Dobra Street in Warsaw ( 2006, 1st prize), the National Music Forum, Wroclaw, (1st prize, 2005 ) Biennial of Architecture in Cracow in year 1996 (commendation), prizes and nominations  in competitions “Życie w Architekturze” (Living in Architecture) (2013, 1998, 1993), and others. Since 2011 General Designer of  the new facilities (already constructed or under construction): general designer : Skierniewicka office bldg. ( 2019 ) Residential complex and  Retail Pavillion , Solec ,Warsaw, ( 2018)  ,  Retro Office house , Wrocław ( 2018 ) ,  The Tides  apart hotel and seat of the Warsaw Rowing Society in Warsaw ( 2017 ) ,  Q 22 skyscraper and office tower in Warsaw ( 2016 ), Arctowski Polar Station on King George Island, South Pole  ( 2016 ),  National Music Forum in  Wrocław (2015), city stadium in Białystok (2014), the building of Foreign Language Faculties of Warsaw University at Dobra Street (2013-2023) .

 

Magdalena Kowalewska

Country Manager Operations Poland IMMOFINANZ
Board Member of IMMOFINANZ in Poland.

Magdalena began her career at IMMOFINANZ in 2009. Since then she has held the position of Head of Asset Management Offices & Logistics Poland, Country Manager Offices & Logistics Poland and in 2016 she became a Member of the Board and Country Operations Manager, in charge of the Polish real estate portfolio of the company, worth now over EUR 1 billion. Currently, she is responsible for all operational departments of IMMOFINANZ in Poland including Asset Management, Leasing, Development and Center Management. Her activities focus on two strategic areas of the company’s operations: office and retail real estate. Magdalena is also responsible for areas of HR, Marketing and PR in Poland. During recent years she has successfully implemented the development strategy of three IMMOFINANZ brands on the local market: myhive office concept, STOP SHOP retail parks and VIVO! shopping centres. Magdalena Kowalewska graduated in Marketing from the University of Chicago, International Economic Relations from the Warsaw School of Economics and English Language and Literature from the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce.

 

Marek Dobrzycki

Managing Director, Pannatoni Europe

Marek Dobrzycki started his career at Panattoni in 2007 on the position of Development Manager. Currently working as Managing Director in the Development Department, he is responsible for property commercialization and new business development in all of the core warehouse markets in Poland. One of his biggest achievements includes signing 7 transactions with Amazon: Bolesławiec, Pawlikowice near Łódź, Poznań, Sosnowiec, Wrocław, Szczecin and the most recent one, a record-breaking deal, totaling 210 000 sqm in Gliwice. Since the beginning of the year, Panattoni has leased 1.5 million sqm of space in Poland.

 

Nicklas Lindberg

President of the Board, CEO Echo Investment

Responsible for the strategy and development of Echo Investment. He was employed for 15 years by Skanska, where he held the positions of president of Skanska Commercial Development Europe (CDE), Skanska’s business unit that develops properties in Central and Eastern Europe, and head of Skanska Property Poland, a unit of Skanska Commercial Development Europe. Prior to that, he was employed in residential development units in the Nordics. In 2008–2015 he was employed by Skanska Russia as both CFO and CEO. Nicklas was appointed CEO of Echo Investment on April 18th 2016. He graduated from the University of Lund in 2001.

 

Peter Pecnik

Country CEO Poland, HB Reavis

Peter Pecnik leads the Polish office of HB Reavis, an international workspace provider. Apart from developing landmark Varso Place and community-focused Forest in Warsaw, the Polish branch of the company also provides workplace-as-a-service solutions like Origameo workplace consultancy, Symbiosy, a technology and sensory platform, as well as HubHub coworking spaces. Peter Pecnik has 20 years of experience in real estate and finance. A member of the HB Reavis Group team since 2008, he previously served as the Head of Corporate Finance. Prior to joining HB Reavis, he worked at Deloitte, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and Tatra Banka. Peter Pecnik is a graduate of the University of Economics in Bratislava.

 

Przemo Łukasik

Co-founder and General Architect, medusagroup

Przemo Lukasik was born in Chorzów (Poland) in 1970. He studied architecture at Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice (Poland) and at Ecole d’Architecture Paris-Villemin in Paris (France). After graduating he worked at P.P. Pabel Architekten in Berlin,  Jean Nouvel Architecture in Paris and Odile Decq / Benoit Cornette in Paris. In 1997 he established, along with Lukasz Zagala, his own practice: medusagroup. In 2008 he was a visiting professor at Ecole Speciale d’Architecture in Paris (France). Privately he is involved in social activities in Silesia, alsow keen on sports he does triathlon.

 

Rafał Pomorski

CFO at Globalworth Poland

He has been a member of the financial management board of the leading office investor in CEE since December 2016. Previously associated with Griffin Real Estate and the MGPA fund investing. He started his professional career in 2007 in the audit department of PwC. He is a graduate of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin.

 

Renata Osiecka

Managing Partner, AXI IMMO Group

Renata Osiecka has more than 20-years’ experience at commercial real estate market. Within a few years she has built strong and independent real estate agency. Renata Osiecka has wide knowledge and experience in real estate management, advised and represented clients in leasing, disposal & acquisition transactions. Previously Managing Director Panattoni Europe for Western Poland and Head of Industrial in Colliers International. She has MA of Warsaw University and European University in Warsaw. Additionally, she post graduated in management and valuation in Sheffield University in UK.  She also is RICS member and Chair of Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging Committee SIOR European Regional Chapter.

 

Sandra Wróblewska

Senior Business Development Manager at Kajima Poland,

Sandra is responsible for the company’s business development activities such as brand promotion, customer relationship management and winning new contracts. Over the last ten years Sandra has contributed to the increase in recognition and strengthening of the image of Kajima Poland on the domestic market. This enabled the company to obtain many new clients and thus to significantly increase turnover and profits. In recognition of her professionalism and hard work, Sandra won Top Woman in Real Estate – Business Development and Top Woman in Real Estate in the online voting, at the 2020 Top Woman in Real Estate organisation’s annual gala. A graduate of the Executive MBA at the Warsaw School of Economics, run in cooperation with the University of Minnesota – Carlson School of Management, Sandra is currently studying the psychology of managerial activity Master Class of Management at the SWPS University.

 

Sławomir Gajewski

Chairman of the Board, TORUS

Born in the Mazury region, Sławomir Gajewski is a law graduate at the University of Gdańsk. He has always perceived the Tricity area as the most interesting agglomeration in Poland and has therefore chosen to live and work here. Following his legal studies, Mr Gajewski also completed a judiciary apprenticeship before finally settling in property development. The experience gained at Agencja Rozwoju Pomorza (Pomerania Development Agency) and at Gdańskie Wydawnictwo Oświatowe (GWO) allowed Mr Gajewski, in 2002, to take on the role of Chairman of the Board at Torus, Gdańsk based property developer. Under his leadership, Torus completed a wide array of property development projects in office, hotel, warehouse and residential sectors, though the company has specialised in modern office property. Mr Gajewski built the Torus brand in Tricity and on the Polish commercial property market through its ability to plan, strategic thinking and boldness in undertaking new business opportunities. So far, the company has contributed more than 160,000 sq. m of office space. Mr Gajewski is a visionary who does not shy away from challenges, but he is also known for his keen sense of market analysis. The combined experience and successes achieved by the Torus team signal the company’s desire to expand into other Polish regions.

 

Szymon Wojciechowski

Chairman of the Board, APA Wojciechowski Architekci

Szymon Wojciechowski is an architect with over thirty years of experience. He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of Warsaw University of Technology and University of Detroit (USA), a member of the Regional Chamber of Architects (Mazowiecka Okręgowa Izba Architektów). Since 1982 he has been working with studio APA, currently APA Wojciechowski sp. z oo, in which he serves as President of the Board, CEO. Many years of experience combined with a passion to create and a fondness for beautiful shapes allows him to design buildings not only with unique designs and spectacular interiors, but also great functionality. Author or co-author of many well-known architectural projects, including White Square Office Center and White Gardens Office Center in Moscow, UNIT.City in Kiev, Lviv.Tech.City in Lviv, Elektrownia Powiśle, Skyliner, The Park Warsaw, Latarnia (Port Praski) and Galeria Północna in Warsaw, Osiedle Riverview, Officyna and Alchemia in Gdańsk, Business Garden Wrocław, Centrum Południe in Wrocław, Nova Silesia in Katowice and The Park Kraków. Winner of numerous awards including: Leadership of the Year – CIJ Awards 2019; 1st place in the competition ‘Forbes Professionals 2012’ in the category  of Public Trust in Mazowieckie – Architect; Architect of the year – Business Center Class A – granted by the Commercial Real Estate Moscow Awards 2010; Architect of the year 2009 – awarded by CEE Real Estate Quality Awards in cooperation with the Financial Times.
